How a Marvel Rivals coaching hour works
- 01Role firstPick the role you queue. A Strategist gets a healer coach, a Vanguard gets a tank coach.
- 02Play or replayLive, the coach calls ults with you. On a VOD they pause each fight and show where it turned.
- 03Heroes for the ban phaseYou leave with a second and third hero to fall back on when your main is banned.
Team-ups and ult economy decide fights
Rivals fights swing on ultimates far more than on aim. Two good players who ult together beat five who spend theirs one at a time, and team-up abilities only work when the pair is on the field. A high-rank coach teaches you to track enemy ults and hold yours for the moment it counts.
