Which skins make a Fortnite account rare?
Rarity in Fortnite comes from items that can't be bought any more. Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper sat in the Season 1 shop, Black Knight was the top reward of the Season 2 battle pass, and IKONIK and Galaxy came bundled with Samsung phones. When a seller's description names one of these, the card shows it in gold, using the item's official name.
Names are matched against the full Fortnite item list, so a lookalike such as Omega Knight never gets shown as the rare Omega.

- The platform you play on, because console links and some purchases are tied to where the account was used.

Is buying a Fortnite account safe?
Epic's licence agreement doesn't let players sell or transfer accounts, so Epic can close one that changed hands. The bigger risk in practice is the old owner taking it back through support, which is why full access matters: once the email is yours, that door shuts. Change both details the minute you sign in.

Are OG Fortnite accounts worth the price?
If the skin you want can't come back to the shop, an account is the only way to own it. Check that the item is named on the page, not just shown in a photo.
Can I play a Fortnite account on console?
Yes. Outfits belong to the Epic account, so they follow you to PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and mobile once you sign in there.
What does full access mean?
You get the Epic login and the email behind it, so you can change both. Without the email, the old owner can recover the account.
Can a bought account get banned?
Epic can close accounts that changed hands, and some get recovered by the first owner. Securing the email straight away is the best protection you have.
